It has several custom touches including: a 1955 Desoto grill that is stretched, 1930 truck ooga horn, frenched headlights, shaved hood, shaved door handles and trunk, Desoto hub caps, frenched antenna, 1956 Oldmobile frenched taillights, new Coker radial white wall tires, NOS quarter panels and fenders and beautiful Gold Metallic paint! The convertible top system is all rebuilt and works like new. The interior is reupholstered in rolled and pleated white vinyl and has a custom steering wheel with vintage suicide knob. Under the hood is a 1960 Ford 292 engine with 312 heads, custom valve covers, an Offenhauser intake with 3 Stromberg 97 carburetors, electric fan, electronic ignition and an upgraded 12-volt system. A Hurst floor shifter keeps you in control of the 3-speed manual transmission while the rebuilt AM/FM radio cranks out the tunes. The power is then sent out back to a 4.10 posi-traction setup that gets this drop top moving in a hurry! Extra gauges allow you to keep a close eye on the engine while a custom speedometer finished off the interior in style. Front disc brakes with a dual master cylinder and power steering make you never want to climb out from behind the wheel of this beautiful street rod.
